Shelton Campus 2020 Graduation - Â鶹ÉçTech & Â鶹ÉçCulinary Institutes
On November 8, 2020, the Â鶹ÉçTech campus in Shelton, CT graduated over 350 students in 6 programs: 101 Electricians, 82 Medical Assistants, 14 Patient Care Assistants, and 91 Practical Nursing students. Shelton is also home to one of two Â鶹ÉçCulinary Institute campuses. The Culinary Arts & Food Services program had 55 graduates, and an additional 26 students graduated from the International Baking & Pastry program.
Kathy Trister, Shelton’s Director of Career Services, opened the virtual graduation with welcoming remarks, and introduced Dr. Susan Naples, Shelton’s Campus President. Both Dr. Naples & Â鶹ÉçTech President & CEO Scott Shaw delivered short speeches that were both congratulatory and inspiring to the graduates. Pamela Fois, Director of Education, presented the Deborah Ramentol Graduate Leadership Award to Marco Acevedo, one of Shelton’s top Medical Assistant graduates.
